Constituent conference of the Association was held on December 22, 2004 in Moscow. Its organizers were presented by “National Depository Center” and “Depository Clearing Company”. In the framework of the Conference it was signed the Resolution on setting up the Association of Central Depositories of Eurasia.

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine # 1707 of 21 December, 2004 approved the State Program of the National depository system of Ukraine development.

Program is developed by the Institute of Economic Prognostics of the NAS of Ukraine. Examination of the Program project was made by the National Institute of Strategic Researches and Research Institute of Economic Development of the Kyiv National Economic University.

The regular Meeting of the Council of the National Depository of Ukraine held. The NDU Council considered the questions on implementing the project of the International Depository Center and preparing the documents concerning the working out the project Agreement on Investment Activity and Free Capital Flows between the UES participating countries.

The NDU Council also approved the reports on the National Depository of Ukraine activities for the I and II quarters of 2004 and made changes to the NDU Executive Board. The Deputy Chairman of the NDU Anatoliy Golovko joined the Board and Olexander Razumtsev left it.
